Police detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs) regains consciousness following a car accident involving his wife, Hannah (Laura Allen) and son, Rex (Dylan Minnette).
Michael is told his wife died, while his son survived. Waking up the
following morning, Michael realizes the survival facts have reversed. In
an attempt to keep both of his loved ones alive, Michael starts living
double-life in two realities, with different police partners and
different conflicts in his personal life.
