Jeyton's ending

I thought that Jeyton's ending was pretty weird. I mean one second Peyton asks Jake to marry him and the next Jake is gone for good so far... and is only mentioned once again as a joke in Season 6. It is to presume that Peyton never did tell anyone that she wanted to get married with Jake... that's very unlikely isn't it? Come here to talk about it Very Happy

I think that Jake/Peyton's ending was very precontrived. I mean, Peyton said she loved Lucas in her sleep, and she didn't even remember, but suddenly that changes everything?

I mean, she was ready to MARRY jake! it didn't make sense to me

I don't even think that Peyton was in LOVE with lucas at that time. I think that almost dying was probably pretty emotionally damaging for her, and she was probably worried about it. She probably really appreciated Lucas saving her..but she was ready to marry Jake at that time. So I don't think she was even actively in love with Lucas until Jake had left.

Yeah, so what saying it in a dream...you can say loving someone you hate in your dreams...and she said to Jake's face that she loved him, I don't understand why he sent her away *shrugs*

It was weird to me because Jake always understood peyton really well. So to me, it was out of character for him to misunderstand her like that.

I think mark just wanted to make room for lucas/peyton. but the "someday" made me hopeful that they would actually get their someday, and they never did Sad
